vybin
vybin is a social networking website connecting people through music while providing a platform for aspiring EDM artists to expand their fan base, share production philosophies, show off talent, and have live interaction with fans.
The challenge of the project was creating a visual identity for vybin and design the website to distinguish the newly opening community and while still being relatable to contemporary EDM artists and fans. After research and iteration, a logo was reached which referenced both the letter "V" and musical notation, with angles appropriate to the energy of vybin.
The website is designed to display an array of videos and for users to easily follow the constant uploading and streaming of new music. It uses a color coding system for navigating the various EDM genres. The design of the responsive website was considered when designing prototypes of an application for mobile devices.
